Work Out Information
Practices take place at the Northwest Austin YMCA indoor pool (25 yards/6 lanes – 4 lanes masters). This program is designed for all levels of swimmers – Tri athletes, open water swimmers, competitive masters swimmers or just adults that want to stay fit.
Workouts are typically 2000-3500 yards at intervals appropriate to the swimmers ability. Focus on all strokes and distances. Total workout time is one hour – possibly longer on Saturdays.
Lane 1: novice swimmer. interval varies. Some stroke instruction.
Lane 2: 2:00/100yd
Lane 3: 1:40/100yd
Lane 4: 1:20-1:30/100yd
